About Synthalab

Built by People Who Know How This Industry Works

We come from the medical side of this. We know what real clinical evidence looks like — and we know what paid marketing dressed up as science looks like. Synthalab exists because we got tired of the latter.

We've Seen This Space From The Inside

The Synthalab team comes from medical device and life sciences. We've spent years working alongside physicians, inside operating rooms and clinical settings, watching how therapeutic decisions actually get made. We understand the difference between peer-reviewed evidence and promotional literature — because we've had to know the difference professionally, every day, for years.

Peptides started coming up in clinical conversations long before they became mainstream. We watched the space grow from a niche research topic into a multi-billion dollar market — and watched the information environment around it get progressively worse. Review sites that were really affiliate funnels. Vendor blogs presenting marketing copy as research. "Guides" with no citations, no evidence grading, no accountability.

We built Synthalab because the resource we wanted to send people to didn't exist.

Transparency Starts Here

Synthalab Is Not:
Not a peptide vendor. We don't sell peptides. We never will. We have no inventory, no fulfillment, no product to push.
Not a clinical practice. We are not physicians, licensed medical providers, or a telehealth platform. Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice.
Not a pay-to-play platform. Vendors cannot purchase their ranking on this site. Period. Our review criteria are fixed, public, and applied identically to every vendor we evaluate.
Not beholden to any single vendor. We may earn affiliate commissions from vendor links — fully disclosed on every page where links appear. Those commissions don't influence our rankings. A vendor with a great affiliate program and poor COA documentation gets a poor ranking. That's the deal.

How We Actually Do This

01
Third-party COA or no listing — no exceptions
Every vendor on this site must provide publicly accessible Certificates of Analysis from an independent, accredited laboratory. In-house testing doesn't count. Self-reported purity claims don't count. If a vendor can't show us third-party documentation, they don't appear on the site.
02
Research summaries built from primary sources
Every peptide summary in our Research Hub links directly to the PubMed-indexed study it's drawn from. We cite the actual trial, the actual sample size, the actual outcome. We also label evidence quality honestly — if the data is mostly preclinical animal studies, we say so. We don't round up weak evidence to make a peptide sound more compelling.
03
Vendor monitoring is ongoing, not a one-time snapshot
The peptide vendor space moves fast. Companies shut down, get raided, change their testing standards, or quietly remove their COA pages. Our vendor database is checked on a regular basis. Listings reflect current status, not the last time someone set it and forgot it.
04
Research purposes only — no exceptions to this either
All peptides referenced on Synthalab are sold as research compounds. They are not FDA-approved for human therapeutic use. We don't tell you what to take, how much to take, or how to use any compound. If you're considering peptides for personal use, that conversation belongs with a licensed physician — not a website.

What We Believe

🔬
Evidence over enthusiasm
The peptide space is full of overpromising. We don't participate in it. Strong preclinical data is strong preclinical data — not proof of human efficacy.
⚖️
Independence is non-negotiable
Our rankings can't be bought, negotiated, or influenced by commercial relationships. If that ever changes, Synthalab loses its only real value.
📋
Transparency about what we don't know
Long-term human safety data for most research peptides simply doesn't exist yet. We say that clearly rather than papering over the gaps.
🔄
Current information or no information
A vendor listing that's six months out of date is worse than no listing. We'd rather say nothing than say something wrong.
